New English language requirements for Medical Radiation registration

QUT's Bachelor of Applied Science – Medical Radiation Technology (Medical Imaging Technology) CRICOS Code: 037588F, prepares students to become a medical imaging technologist or diagnostic radiographer.

Students should be aware that the Medical Radiation Technologists Board of Queensland (MRTBQ) has introduced English language proficiency requirements for registration. The requirement is for an IELTS test score of 7 for reading, writing, speaking and listening obtained within the past two years.

The Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR) also has specific language requirements for international students seeking accreditation in Australia.

Please not the QUT English language proficiency requirement for this course remains the same: IELTS overall score of 7, with no sub-band less than 6.
